HI,

I am trying to install the certificates , i have created a certificate and successfully added to DS store, When i go through credential from iphone configuration utility i cannot see the certificate i just stored into DS,
My certificate name was saththiyan-ipad.cer

Via the Certificate MMC snap-in (personal certificates), requested a mobile device certificate.
Subject name: (Common name) devel1-ipad.domain.com
Alternative name: (DNS) devel1-ipad.domain.com
Friendly name: Development Team iPad 1 (match the description in the Active Directory computer object you created)
The certificate should successfully create and return signed by the Issuing CA.
Export the certificate (no private key) as DER encoded binary X.509 (.CER) by right-clicking on the certificate in the snap-in.
As an administrator (i.e. a user with Active Directory object modification rights), publish the exported certificate (file) to Active Directory:
> certutil -v -f -dspublish “devel1-ipad.cer” Machine

and every thing was success. so now how can i import this certificate to iPhone configuration utility????

Not so much in the small business environment, but for a student it's a big deal. You're often going to leave it in halls, which are not the safest places at the best of times, and you need to protect it from opportunistic theft - I had many friends at Uni swear by their Kensington lock even when the rest of their stuff was now long gone.
Is it a big deal with the design? Nope. Probably worth being aware of in this specific situation though.

I'd have to agree with your comments about a better system for notifications on iOS. The current "Badge" system assumes all notifications are identical from a given App and that all App badges are visible (also starts to fall over when folders get involved).
A system similar to Android's "Notification Bar" makes a lot of sense, and making use of that completely blank and 99% wasted search screen means I don't lose valuable home space.

In addition, the most annoying thing I find about the Android bar is being able to grab it when I'm in a rush, often hitting the top row of Apps or doing nothing. Swipe right is an unambiguous gesture that you can pull off while running down the street without an issue.

Now if only it could tell me when Apps are updated without me having to check manually...

I am trying to setup a new WI-FI network for my company's intranet. But it refuses to pick up the certificate, even when the other parameters are configured and the profile with certificate is installed. Any idea why?

I use a plugin called WPTouch. You just activate it and it adds a new theme to your install (which you don't need to activate).

A petition won't get you anywhere, neither will Watchdog. Since the company is in administration, they don't have the finances to pay their bills, let alone repay customers who have complaints. The only thing you can do is write to them, ask for the administrators details, and then log a request with them. Its possible that once they have sold the assets and paid the debtors, there may be enough left to get some money back, but don't hold your breathe. I wouldn't spend money on a private detective. There isn't really anything they could do.

Hi y freinds. i am still in the same boat with these con artists the only thing i can think of doing is makeing a partition and getting people to sign it. whatch dog does not seem to be interested so i think we need to contact the govement and see if we can get something done. i am doing checks in a minute to see if there is even a record of the tutors name. good luck gys shame i ended up waisting £4000 on a cource im not getting or i oud have taken them to court. i think a private detective is the only way that we are going to get anywhere. sorry guys

Howdy! Quick question that's totally off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My site looks weird when viewing from my iphone 4. I'm trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to correct this issue. If you have any suggestions, please share. With thanks!

I can only suggest going into the Wifi settings when you're connected and choose Forget Network from the screen. Its possibly holding onto it while its still remembered.

How do I remove the cert? Strange enough, I removed the certificate via Settings > General > Profiles but when connecting to the Wi-Fi the certificate still appearing although the section Profiles does not appear any longer under "Settings > General".

I am having the same problems. After I joined I had two children and a ill mum who has since passed away. I informed the college of these events and I have been assigned a new tutor who is saying they are not letting me finish my course as I did not keep in touch. I have proof that I did keep in touch and will not let the matter just be forgotton. I did not ask for a refund all I wanted was to complete the course. The tutor will not respond to my question.

Max, if you're being prompted for a password, then either your certificate is wrong or missing the password. Worth checking with your IT department. They should be able to supply this.
Worth checking what is included in the profile file from Settings. If you select the certificate, it should tell you what it is configured for.

I've mailed to myself my company certificate and my iPhone has well processed, letting me see it in profile informations. But (sadly there is a but), where I look for available wifi networks and I try to connect to my company network it requires a password. What is it?

the interface of Windows 7 is great but in my opinion Windows XP is still a very solid and stable operating system. Right now, I would never give up XP for Windows 7.
